Go check out their lines now. They have stepped it up big time. They have lines and over unders for every fight being made. Even the ones a couple of months away now. Im impressed. Their customer service is horrible but damn - you cant beat their lines. They have Morales vs Barrera up, Wlad vs Williams, Strum vs Joval, Braithwaite vs Marc Mormek, Wright vs Mosely, Byrd vs Mcline etc etc. And over unders for each fight.

Thats what Im talkin about.

Joey called this like a month or so ago. Makes you wonder if he is working for them now.

I just checked 5dimes and Tonys right, they have the same lines up. Its pretty sweet. Boxing lines have been an afterthought for books for the last couple of years. It seems like even Vegas books are putting more up.

tony...may vs nelson is up.......

what do you think?...i`m guessing you are thinking nelson.....

i see that may has 3 fairly recent draws in der hinterland....

that`s not a good thing....

i`m already parlaying several wagers off of felix sturm....joval can`t knock him out...and i doubt that he outboxes sturm in germany...

May is pretty bad, cant punch also throws not enough punches to outpoint a tall fighter with a nice jab like nelson. Nelson is old but cant see him losing this one he looked sharp the last time out. May has a no good chin and cuts like gatti thats not good for him.
I mean if you cant beat a puncher with a bad conditioning how will you beat Nelson?
you wont.
The problem is i got accustomed to the plus money and i have a pretty hard time laying 2 dimes to win one.
The sturm wager should come through but at this odds no thank you. If Joval is at +400 i pull the trigger, Sturm has no punch and can be bullied and outworked,he is fast though.
What about phillips ? i took him at + 185 what seems to be a pretty open fight.
I also like mcline.Byrd is getting worse and McCline should not be afraid of him and just use his jab and he should have a more than decent chance at winning.
And i switch sides on ruiz, i am going with him against Golota. if i lose money i am happy to pay it.
I took Braithwaite and it seems to me i was not alone.
I will watch the prefight and weigh in of nelson vs may and decide then if place a big one.

that`s why i used sturm in parlays(the odds)...if joval beats sturm in germany, how bad is dlh at middleweight?i don`t see light punching joval beating sturm...

as far as joval goes,i think he`s a product of some very weak european competition..i `ve seen him twice and i`m not impressed....as a matter of fact a friend that manages jr middleweight champ travis simms asked me whether joval would be a good, winnable match-up for simms...i said absolutely...from what i`ve seen of joval.......but they made the fight with bronco mckart...and that was ready to fall through, last time i looked.....

..his bout with sturm goes off at 1:00 p.m. on the same day that hopkins fights dlh....i want to see whether sturm struggles with joval...because if he does, that is just more proof to me what a mismatch hopkins/dlh will probably be...

i took phillips and braithwaite.....i just hope braithwaite`s hands hold up......

i understand that mormeck comes right at his opponent...that`s a difficult situation when your opponent is taller,a lefty and has one punch k.o. power....

but,i`ve heard some guys say that mormeck is very strong....maybe he can wear down braithwaite if his hands go south on him...

if 40 yr old virgil hill can lose to mormeck 115-113 3 times and had a slip called a knockdown,i gotta think braithwaite has a good shot here...

and phillips?...he was out of boxing from 01/98 until 06/2000(2.5 years!!)...had a fight vs a 3-7 guy.....then came back on 09/2001(another year and 3 months) to fight ouma cold.....

and he gave ouma all he could handle....

ouma`s developed a big rep.....beating shopworn candelo, carlos bojouquez and angel hernandez....and hernandez almost stopped ouma...you could argue that he won that fight...a split nod,if my memory serves me...

i think phillips is a very live dog...he has looked sensational since coming back....

g.l. to us...

btw...i saw that eric morales is only -145 vs barrera....i`m a big barrera fan...and his style gives morales fits....but i think this is at jr ltwt....and morales was obviously dying trying to make featherweight...

i think the taller morales will carry the extra weight more comfortably than barrera....he`s already beaten 2 top 10 jr lightweights....he should be comfortable with the extra weight...whereas it will be new to barrera...

but it`s no bag shot...i don`t think barrera is finished by a long shot....and he has a style that throws morales...

i just remember thinking that morales always looked like he was almost dying making the featherweight limit.....

we`ll see....g.l.

And I was thinking the same thing about Byrd vs Mcline. Byrd seems to be on the decline in his last couple of fights. He's not doing the moving and the boxing that I've seen him do in the past and he's not looking as sharp. Mcline seems to be improving his game ever since the Wlad loss. Mcline is probably on the same level that Wlad is now, there almost identical in size, I think Mclines only an inch shorter. And we all know what happened when Byrd fought Wlad. Im going with Mcline here.

I suppose its possible to see a Tua scenario where Mcline chases him around all night and gets his ears boxed off but I like his huge size advantage in this.

Im suprised these guys are fighting each other because I know that there friends, at least somewhat. Byrd was sitting a couple of rows up from me at the Wlad vs Mcline fight with Mclines two broads that were cheering for him and I've heard Byrd say that theyre friends.

Yeah, I like Mcline. Huge size advantage.

I just read on Fightnews that Sturm will be fighting some American named Fraizer on the 18th instead of this Joval guy but they dont mention anything about Joval getting hurt or anything. Whats going on?

So who is Sturm fighting on the 18th? I see Mayorga has a warrant out for his arrest. Some broad is saying he raped her. It sounds like it might be bs though - I hope that doesnt screw the fight up. I really want to see that.
